Even their minds are inclined commiseratively to the present need of education to promote a spirit of enquiry, to foster a scientific temper within the bonds of humanism, to help the students to became a meaningful part of his environment. To know how to suggest, awaken interest and kindle enthusiasm is the sure way to teach easily and successfully.
The School with its dedicated team endeavors to strive to build up the character of students so that they can grow up to face the challenge of life justly, truthfully and fearlessly.
D.P.S. Jamshedpur provides a varied and wide choice of activities- academic, aesthetic and athletic and a discipline based on the belief that Responsibility comes before Freedom. Men are born to succeed, so let's just stand aside and watch ourselves go by. We should think ourselves as 'WE' not 'I'. Let us hopefully visualize a progeny of good DIPSITES. Purpose will not be served if any criticism of the teaching method or conditions at home, enter these pages, bringing the home and the school at variance with each other. Such criticism, if necessary, can be conveyed personally (or through separate letter) to the Principal who will certainly look into the matters.
DPS goes Online
Parents of Delhi Public School (DPS) students need not stand in long queues to know their child's performance any more. A click on the mouse or a phone call would be enough.
To improve the functioning of the school, DPS, Jamshedpur, is in the process of installing Enterprise Resource Planning - a high tech web-based solution connecting all stakeholders through a common web platform. The school would be the first in the city.
Holidays
The School will remain closed for Deepawali from 8th Nov to 11 Nov 2007.
Admissions
The Prospectus for Classes Nursery is available from the School Office during the office timings. Parents may obtain the same from the School Office.
